GTA V Pre-Load Files Reveal Soundtrack and More

Grand Theft Auto holds a special place at ComicUI. This hearkens back to when Brian and I would sit in my college apartment taking turns on GTA IV. We would play missions, blow things up, cause all sorts of chaos and everything in between. Since we now don’t have the luxury of being within walking distance, we’re looking forward to the online features of V, especially the online missions and ability to craft the world in our image.

GTA V just went gold master this weekend. That means the final disc (or discs, there 2 for XBOX) are complete and will be sent to mass production ASAP. The game will be released next month on September 17 and needless to say, ComicUI will be playing it.

With the release of the final disk, Sony allowed some of the files to be downloaded in Europe in the pre-load fashion. Little did they think that all those people with files would quickly tear them apart and find the gooey insides full of spoilers and information, like players being able to smoke pot and drink and drive, have had gamers jumping for joy. If you’re not into spoilers, we won’t post too many here, but what we do have is a pretty solid list of songs available in the game. I’m impressed, just like any other GTA game, at the variety and quality of the music within. Read on and start picking your station when you’ll be doing your drive-bys.
