Since we’ve learned that Kodi Smit-McPhee was cast as Nightcrawler in the upcoming X-MEN: APOCALYPSE film, we’ve been curious as to how they’ll do the character. Can they do justice to the amazing look and performance from X2 or will it be something more CGÂ Rest assured, worried fans, the first official look at Nightcrawler definitely shows some diligence on the character, who I assume we’ll see for several X-Men movies to come.
Released on Twitter, the video below shows a static image of Smit-McPhee in his Nightcrawler makeup and garb appear through the iconic “BAMF!” smoke and then disappear the same way. Its a tease, but definitely gives us an idea of what to see in the film.
Based on experience int he X-Men movies, do you think Nightcrawler will get the time and energy he deserves? Nothing will ever top the opening scene to X2 with him and they have a lot to live up to. Either way, here’s Nightcrawler!
