The Mandalorian is filming its second season currently (we think, at least) and the latest casting report is that longtime Ahsoka Tano fan, Rosario Dawson (Daredevil) has been cast as the live action version of her.
Ahsoka Tano debuted in Star Wars: The Clone Wars in 2008 and has since made appearances in the Rebels TV show, amongst other mediums. A fan favorite for sure, she has previously been voiced by Ashley Eckstein, as recently as 2020 in Season 7 of the Clone Wars on Disney+.
Will this version of Ahsoka be fully makeup/practical effects, or also mixed with a little CGI? We’re excited to see the return of her, along with what appears to be a season long thread about the Dark Saber, the mythical black lightsaber seen at the finale of The Mandalorian.
