With the increasing lockdown of social gatherings, including cinemas, it seems a lot of studios are looking to recoup lost profits by releasing movies to on-demand digital early. The most recent superhero film to take part in this is Sony’s BLOODSHOT, starring Vin Diesel, based on the Valiant comic character of the same name.

Bloodshot tells the story of Ray Garrison (Diesel), a soldier who is killed in combat, only to be reanimated with superhuman abilities. Also starring Guy Pierce, the film has been received to mild fanfare, sporting a much higher audience than critic rating on RT, but could be the best mindless indulgent action film of the year (so far).
