Before leaving for C2E2 last week, ComicUI received the opportunity to sign up for an one-on-one interview with several BOOM! Studios creative talent. Being an independent site, we jumped on the opportunity to mingle with those who we consider successful and got an interview with the two wonderful, betrothed creators of Translucid, Claudio Sanchez (of Coheed & Cambria fame) and his wife, Chondra Echert.
Anyone who knows me, can vouch that I’ve been to more Coheed & Cambria shows than I can count and have met Claudio each year he’s been to C2E2, including having him and Chondra autograph The Key of Z, another collaborative comic book of theirs. We quickly wrote up our questions for the show and proceeded to ask the hard hitting questions about Translucid, their newest comic series. You can find their answers in the video below!
I recorded the interview below with my iPhone and camera on hand, however, during that time the cleaning crew decided that changing out plastic trash bags would be appropriate, so I apologize for the audio levels in advance.
