I guess I hadn’t realized that Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD wasn’t confirmed for an entire season, just a plethora of episodes at the beginning. Now, however, we have confirmation that ABC has faith in the Marvel show and have picked it up for a full season. As I’ve stated in my thoughts on the show, I think Agents of SHIELD has potential to be something filling and unique for the Marvel universe. Its no Smallville or Arrow or whatever TV show DC is working on, but their shows aren’t connected either. They don’t take the big pieces from the films and show what happens when the little people are affected by them.

Anyways, this season we’ll get to uncover the truth behind Coulson’s resurrection, who the Rising Tide actually is (I think someone is behind it), and if Fitz/Simmons ever fall in love. Not really on that last one. Here’s the full press release and tune into ABC next Tuesday for more of Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD.
