KRYPTON television series revealed

-

SyFy has revealed they’re working on a television series called KRYPTON. Based on the DC comics superhero Superman mythology, it takes places before the planet Krypton was destroyed and Kal El was sent to earth. David S. Goyer (Constantine) and Ian Goldberg (Once Upon a Time) are producing the series for the channel and we have the official logo as well.

We’ve included the official release as well for KRYPTON but we can’t say we’re too interested. I think DC/Warner Bros have put a lot of investment into television lately with 4 shows currently and are banking on their next film in 2016 to launch several properties. We applaud their tenacity, yet can’t help but feel things are getting thin. Are you interested in seeing Superman’s grandpa handle some good old fashioned space politics?

“From Warner Horizon Television and DC Comics, Krypton takes place years before the Superman legend we know, when the House of El was shamed and ostracized. This drama follows the Man of Steel’s grandfather as he brings hope and equality to Krypton, turning a planet in disarray into one worthy of giving birth to the greatest Super Hero ever known.”
