The past few years, Marvel has given us tastes for their upcoming films during the Superbowl. With a company like that to miss the Superbowl’s movie trailer spots, would be tragic. I can still remember the 2012 Superbowl with the Avenger’s spot like it was yesterday, let alone last year’s Iron Man 3. This week we get confirmation that Marvel will be previewing a second trailer for CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER. It may not be a surprise, but hopefully we’ll get some more sexy shots on the trailer. With The Winter Soldier releasing in the April time slot instead of May, I feel this strategy is solid, however, they should also push a GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY trailer as well, start the marketing sooner than later.

My biggest desire for the Superbowl movie trailers this year include the following list: Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Amazing Spider-Man 2, X-Men: Days of Future Past, Transformers 4 (one word: Dinobots), Guardians of the Galaxy, and Godzilla. If you can think of more, let us know but I want those for sure. I’ll see you at the Superbowl.
