After having a great 2015, it seems the best way to end it is with the first official images of Benedict Cumberbatch in Marvel’s DOCTOR STRANGE movie. Releasing November of 2016, the Sorcerer Supreme is taking shape in these images from Entertainment Weekly. As you can tell, the burgundy coat with the high collar is in tact, he’s wearing the Eye of Agamotto necklace, and casting some kick ass spells.
From these images and concept art, we see that his hands will be injured, there’ll be some mind-expanding imagery, and lots of mystical artifacts in the Chamber of Relics. Marvel is taking a bold step to step into mysticism and out of the science-type world they’ve built, and this looks to be a great step.
