Drew Goddard Departs DAREDEVIL; DeKnight now Showrunner

-

marvel netflix daredevil steven s deknightIn what seems like a week full of break ups and departures, Drew Goddard (Cabin in the Woods) has left Marvel’s upcoming Netflix series, Daredevil, as consultant and show runner to continue working on Sony’s SINISTER SIX spin-off film. This seems to be another amicable split, as Goddard will still remain an executive producer on the series and has been replaced with Steven DeKnight (Spartacus, Angel, Buffy). The initial pilot and consecutive episode have been written by Goddard and will still be used as well.

As production ramps up on the Marvel’s Netflix series, expect more finalized details to come to light, especially casting confirmation for the blind lawyer.
