Marvel is moving quick with their TV shows, with AGENTS OF SHIELD season 2 kicking off to a strong start and only getting better, they’re not slowing down on AGENT CARTER.
AGENT CARTER is a spin off of a Marvel One-Shot, also titled Agent Carter, which was a continuation of CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE FIRST AVENGER’s Peggy Carter character. From supporting character to starring in a TV Show, Peggy has come a long way and is looking to be Marvel’s first female led project.
To kick off the show, Marvel has released their official synopsis for the show as well as letting us know that AGENT CARTER will premier in 2015. Thats a little longer than we had hoped, especially after seeing Peggy return twice in 2014, once in THE WINTER SOLDIER and again during the first episode of AGENTS OF SHIELD season 2.

ABC presents its second action packed series from the creative minds at Marvel in “Marvel’s Agent Carter,” inspired by the feature films Marvel’s “Captain America: The First Avenger” and Marvel’s “Captain America: The Winter Soldier,” along with the short “Marvel One-Shot: Agent Carter.”
Years before Agent Coulson and his S.H.I.E.L.D. team swore to protect those who cannot protect themselves from threats they cannot conceive, there was Agent Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell, Marvel’s “Captain America: The First Avenger,” Marvel’s “Captain America: The Winter Soldier”), who pledged the same oath but lived in a different time when women weren’t recognized as being as smart or as tough as their male counterparts.
But no one should ever underestimate Peggy.
It’s 1946 and peace has dealt Peggy a serious blow as she finds herself marginalized when the men return home from fighting abroad. Working for the covert SSR (Strategic Scientific Reserve), Peggy finds herself stuck doing administrative work when she would rather be back out in the field; putting her vast skills into play and taking down the bad guys. But she is also trying to navigate life as a single woman in America, in the wake of losing the love of her life, Steve Rogers – aka Captain America.
When old acquaintance Howard Stark (Dominic Cooper, Marvel’s “Captain America: The First Avenger”) finds himself being framed for unleashing his deadliest weapons to anyone willing to pony up the cash, he contacts Peggy – the only person he can trust – to track down those responsible, dispose of the weapons and clear his name. He empowers his butler, Edwin Jarvis (James D’Arcy, “Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World”), to be at her beck and call when needed to help assist her as she investigates and tracks down those responsible for releasing these weapons of mass destruction. But Jarvis, who is a creature of habit and sticks to a rigid daily routine, is going to have to make some major life changes if he’s going to be able to keep up with Peggy.
If caught going on these secret missions for Stark, Peggy could be targeted as a traitor and spend the rest of her days in prison – or worse. And as she delves deeper into her investigation, she may find that those she works for are not who they seem, and she might even begin to question whether Stark is as innocent as he claims.

The fight, it’s intense, it’s quick, it’s dirty but mostly it’s very dark. At some point Daredevil falls out the window, clangs on some scaffolding and lands facedown in the street. The knife CLANGS to his side, the rain thunders on the pavement. All the sounds are heightened. And then BOOM you’re back in time. Daredevil is having a flashback. Everything has a yellow hue. Little Matty Murdock is asleep at a kitchen table and his Dad wakes him. He tells him to study so he won’t end up “like him.” He holds a bag of frozen vegetables to his face. He’s been beaten, bad. His boy feels his bruises. And his father says, “Come on Matty get to work.” Those words spring modern day Daredevil to life. He pushes himself up black rain falls off his head, but red back light blood pours from his mouth. Then Daredevil beats the ever loving shit out of the intruder. It’s excellent.
The next scene showed Matt waking Matt waking up on Claire’s couch, his mask removed. (He refers to his costume as “a work in progress.”) She’d found him in a dumpster. He is injured (three broken ribs, a puncture wound on his side, and probable concussion). He’s not happy that she’s seen his face, but asks her why she didn’t just call the police. She said has her own reasons for not calling cops. Not getting much in the way of useful information from Matt about who he is, she nicknames him Mike because he reminds her of an ex who kept secrets. She’ll let him rest there for the night.
