Extended AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON Trailer

0

Samsung has released an extended trailer for Marvel’s upcoming AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON. What we get is a very creepy intro from Ultron that outweighs the first one, and a surprise at the end of his speech that kind of made me jump.

What we know about the movie is very little, which is how we like to stay, but these trailers blow my mind everytime I watch one. Check back for our analysis of the trailer, because we’re breaking down every last detail of this puppy.

Enjoy your AGE OF ULTRON!

Exclusive AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON Video

0

This is a low quality version of the exclusive AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON preview that is included with the home release of Marvel’s GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY. The video was taken from a camera phone while they watched the Spanish version of the dvd.

What do we learn from this clip? A few things, but overall its kind of lackluster. We see Ultron in another form, more akin to the teasers we’ve seen, and as Brian pointed out, the Hulkbuster’s fist is HUGE. That fight is going to be epic.

If you’re looking to kill a few minutes and can’t wait till GUARDIANS is released on blu-ray, check out the low-res video!

First Clip from Marvel’s AGENT CARTER

0

If you were watching the Marvel 75 Years: From Pulp to Pop on ABC last night, you may have caught the first clip from the upcoming series AGENT CARTER. Marvel was gracious enough to show us that Howard Stark will be returning, as well as meeting the real life version of Jarvis (which Tony Stark based his personal AI on).

The clip, while short, shows that Peggy Carter can hold her own as she gets into a fight (in a kitchen no less) and definitely gains the upper hand. Its good to see a female led TV series in the comic book world and one that is definitely not based on super powers. Another bit of information we learned is that the show will be releasing in January 2015 for 8 episodes.

We’re not sure if this will interrupt Agents of SHIELD or air simultaneously, but we’re excited either way. Let us know if you’ll be watching AGENT CARTER in 2015!

Dramatic AGE OF ULTRON Teaser Clip

0

During the Marvel Phase 3 announcement event last week, a new unreleased clip from AGE OF ULTRON was shown to the crowd. If you have watched our full event coverage already, you’re familiar with the scene and how it unfolds.

Now, we have a better HD copy of the clip from the event which showcases Steve Rogers and Tony Stark chopping wood at the farmhouse. Many people are speculating this sows the seeds for CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR, as the movie was announced right after the clip was shown. However, I feel this just highlights another clash of ideals between the two characters and is a dramatic beat during the movie.

Enjoy the newest clip from AGE OF ULTRON!

POLL: Which Marvel Phase 3 movie has you most excited?

0

We got 9 new movies announced last week. NINE new Marvel films and we can only say we expected 3 of them at most. After letting the news sit and digest for a bit, we want to know which one has you most excited?

Personally, I am thrilled to see Inhumans get their own film in 2018. Sure, thats 4 years away but hell, thats better than never! Most fans are waiting on Deadpool to arrive in his own film (even though its scheduled for February 2016) and he’s popular enough to be all over Marvel’s comic covers this month. So the fact Inhumans are going to become a well known property has me thrilled to no extent.

Some more good news is that there are 4 new properties being introduced as well: Doctor Strange, Black Panther, Captain Marvel, and Inhumans. The rest are sequels of sorts and seem to be headed down a storyline full of destruction: Civil War, Ragnarok, Infinity War, so instead of seeing our favorite characters be down and out, we’ll get to meet some new ones!

Now its time for you to tell us which one is your favorite in this week’s poll! If you’re up to telling us why in the comments, we’d love to hear that too. Happy Monday!

Did you get all the news this week from Marvel? They announced their full Phase 3 lineup and blew our minds. Not only that, they gave a special scene from AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON that shows tensions running high between Tony Stark and Steve Rogers. Even the recently cast Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman) came on stage with Robert Downey Jr. and Chris Evans to pick his side for CIVIL WAR.

You can get a full calendar of Comic Book movie releases through 2020 too!

Do you wish you were there? We did too, but that doesn’t stop us from finding people filming the entire event. Now you can watch the full press video with the Kevin Feige Question & Answer section included as well. It ended up being less than an hour, but you’ll feel like you were in the front row!

Turn off the lights, grab a drink, and get ready to fan girl for the next 45 minutes.

AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON Clip and Extended Teaser

0

I now can watch Marvel’s AGENTS OF SHIELD live. Recently purchased a $15 antenna so I can get local channels and no more on-demand or downloading it. Crazy, right? I know.

It just so happens, I did this in time to catch the unreleased clip from AGE OF ULTRON they aired last night. Its nothing new, as they showed it at SDCC 14, but guess who can’t go there? Pretty much everyone. So with the teaser trailer being released a week early, good guy Marvel gave us not one, but TWO new things!

First thing with the clip is that it showed a house party at the Avengers mansion/tower. This used to be Tony Starks tower in Avengers 1, but has since been remodeled for all the team members. Thor’s hammer is laying on the table and everyone wants to pick it up. This goes from Tony Stark, James Rhodes/War Machine, Captain America (almost got it!), and more. The lightheartedness ends as an early iteration of Ultron appears and it becomes ominous.

This kicks off a new teaser trailer, which included Black Widow looking at Loki’s staff, which was not included before. We’re pretty sure the staff is the mind gem (check out the Avengers: Infinity teaser as it goes through all the known ‘gems’) and will play a part here.

Thats enough description from me, so go on and watch these official bad boys Marvel showed us on ABC last night!

UPDATED Infographic: Comic Book Movies Through 2020

UPDATE 2: Marvel and Sony’s new agreement re-arranged this a bit. Here’s the infographic as of February 2015!
UPDATE: After Marvel came through and blew everyone’s minds with their Movie lineup through 2019, Comics Alliance updated their info graphic with the new information. Enjoy!

Just this week, Warner Bros. unveiled their DC Cinematic Universe lineup through 2020 in a move that shocked and surprised people around the world. Now that the cat is out of the bag, the folks at Comic Alliance have created an info graphic that shows all the superhero/comic book character movies and their potential release dates through 2020.

Currently, there are 33 scheduled movies that are based on comic book characters in the next 5+ years, with probably more to be announced on the way. Marvel is expected to have 2 or 3 in 2019 and 2020, and Sony has been moving their film release back, so this is not in stone. Fox and Sony have not released plans beyond 2018 either. The only thing I can say is that Doctor Strange has NOT been confirmed for late 2016, but its very very likely since a director has been hired and they are currently working on the property.

All in all, it looks like we’re going to have a LOT of reviews over the next few years. Which movies are you most excited for? 2016 is going to blow our minds.

Video: Marvel’s Press Event – Phase 3 Movies

0

Now that the excitement is in the air (and our pants), its time to go back and watch Marvel’s press event from today where they announced 9 more Marvel Cinematic Universe movies. Some were expected (Doctor Strange) and some were not (Inhumans), but that doesn’t mean anything bad at all.

From this event, we gleaned that Captain America’s next movie will be CIVIL WAR, starring Robert Downey Jr. himself as Tony Stark, Thor will enter Ragnarok in 2017, Guardians of the Galaxy 2 is now sooner than we anticipated, and we’re getting 4 new franchises (Doctor Strange, Black Panther, Captain Marvel, Inhumans). And the ultimate news is that Avengers 3 will be 2 parts and titled Infinity War.

You can watch the video of the conference below that ends in the best montage ever, leading to Thanos himself with his Infinity gauntlet. If you’re in a rush, click HERE to start the video at 10:46.

UPDATE: Our video was blocked by Disney. Now we’ll give you the Avengers: Infinity War teaser!
