First Official X-MEN: APOCALYPSE Trailer

0

At long last, the trailer for Fox’s X-MEN: APOCALYPSE has arrived and looks to be the biggest, most impactful movie in the entire franchise. Releasing May 27, 2016, the film is the final movie in the prequel trilogy which has seen the arrival of the Hellfire Club, Sentinels, a rebooted timeline, and now the potential end of the world with Apocalypse.

In this trailer, we get to see younger versions of Jean Grey, Cyclops, Storm, and Nightcrawler, as well as returning favorites, Professor Xavier, Magneto, Quicksilver, Beast, Mystique, Havoc, and Moira McTaggert (not a mutant). New to the cast is Apocalypse, Psylocke, Angel, and who knows what other mutants could show up!

X-MEN: APOCALYPSE is the 9th movie in the X-men universe, preceded by X-MEN, X2: X-MEN UNITED, THE LAST STAND, ORIGINS: WOLVERINE, FIRST CLASS, THE WOLVERINE, DAYS OF FUTURE PAST, and by next year, DEADPOOL. It will be followed by GAMBIT, X-MEN 2018, NEW MUTANTS, WOLVERINE 3, and probably many more along the way.

Marvel’s IRON FIST Gets a Showrunner

0

Marvel’s DEFENDERS show is going to happen soon and they’re one step closer by reportedly hiring Scott Buck as the show runner for IRON FIST, the last show to premier on Netflix.

As of this writing, we know that DAREDEVIL will have 2 seasons, JESSICA JONES landed on its feet strongly a few weeks ago, LUKE CAGE is currently filming, and no one has been cast as Danny Rand, the last missing DEFENDER. Many rumors said IRON FIST was going to be a movie or just dropped completely from the lineup, but Marvel stayed strong.

Now with a show runner hired, it shouldn’t be long before casting begins and the show takes place. Buck is known for being an executive producer on DEXTER and a producer of SIX FEET UNDER.

Our estimation is that IRON FIST will land in one year, the same time as DOCTOR STRANGE, because they both tie into mysticism, but recent comments make the Marvel TV series world feel more distant to the Movie world, even though they exist in the same universe.

Are you ready for IRON FIST to get more news? We are.

UPDATE: Marvel has confirmed Scott Buck as show runner and given us the first synopsis of the upcoming IRON FIST show. Read on!

Returning to New York City after being missing for years, Daniel Rand fights against the criminal element corrupting New York City with his incredible kung-fu mastery and ability to summon the awesome power of the fiery Iron Fist. “Marvel’s Iron Fist” is the fourth series as part of an overall deal between Marvel Television and Netflix, which has already released the critically-acclaimed first seasons of “Marvel’s Daredevil” and “Marvel’s Jessica Jones,” with “Marvel’s Luke Cage” premiering in 2016. All four heroes will then unite in the mini-series event “Marvel’s The Defenders.”

5 Ways BATMAN V SUPERMAN is Marvel’s AVENGERS

0

The second official trailer for BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE is released and the jury is out! We have confirmation of villains, locations, personalities, and more. However, when we watched the latest trailer, something didn’t feel quite right.

Theres no doubt Batman and Superman fighting will be huge, but it seems like it owes a lot to another superhero team-up film from 2012. Thats right, Marvel’s AVENGERS. How does this trailer make us compare the two films? Lets take a look at 5 huge reasons BATMAN V SUPERMAN stole from the AVENGERS.

Tell us if we missed any!

*Editor’s Note: This list is purely satirical and is in no means a way to to hate on DC. We’re psyched to see Batman V Superman next March!

1. A rich man in a suit of armor is fighting a god-like alien

Sure looks a lot like Tony Stark and Thor fighting in a forest.

2. A righteous hero with a circular shield comes in to make peace

Captain America is from WWII and Wonder Woman is from WWI, but a circle shield? Really?

3. The villain is another alien related to the god-like hero

They’re not brothers, but Kryptonian feuds seem more destructive than Asgardian ones.

4. Quinjets make an appearance

Batwing? Quinjets did it better.

5. The big 3 together: Superman, Wonder Woman, & Batman

Of course this shot had to be there. They’re not even looking at the explosion.

Bonus 6. Doomsday is the Abomination

Seriously, how can that NOT be Abomination?! Just look!

Best 5 CIVIL WAR Moments

0

We could totally go through and break down the latest CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR trailer frame by frame and drool incessantly over every detail, but we’re not. I’m going to pick the 5 best, most hype filled moments of the first trailer and see where that takes us.

Did we miss any? Did we get them wrong? Tell us and we’ll see what we can do!

These moments are in no particular order, just a list of them all.

If you’ve not seen the CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR trailer, please do so first, because otherwise…spoilers.

1. Falcon Kick!

2. Captain America & Winter Soldier vs. Iron Man

3. A Team Assembles

4. Black Panther Appears (yes, he gets 2)

5. Hold that Helicopter!

CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR Trailer

0

The first trailer for Marvel’s 2016 CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR trailer has hit the world and we’re all going to be in for an emotional and physical ride this coming March.

From the trailer, we see Steve Rogers (Captain America) has found Bucky Barnes (The Winter Soldier) and is working with Sam Wilson (The Falcon) to take on some sort of government machination that would make superheroes government employees. This seems to be in direct opposition of Tony Stark (Iron Man) and General Ross (from the Incredible Hulk) who say that these vigilantes need training, supervision, and to be accountable to the world.

Along the way, the rest of the superheroes get caught up and end up fighting each other, including Hawkeye, War Machine, Scarlet Witch, Ant-Man, Vision, Black Widow, and the newest Marvel Cinematic character, Black Panther. How do all of these heroes end up at each other’s throats? We’re not sure just yet, but it will end in the biggest brawl on cinemas next year (sorry, not sorry Batman and Superman).

Enjoy the trailer below and mark your calendars for May 6, 2015.
