AGE OF ULTRON Stills from New Trailer

0

While we didn’t learn anything new and exciting about the movie from the newest trailer, we can definitely say it is the best one to date. The hype is real, my friends, and at this point, Marvel’s AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON looks to not disappoint. We see a lot of the big 3 together and then even more of the Avengers team getting into battle.

Here is a quick collection of screenshots from the trailer that highlight a lot of great points throughout. The biggest being the team in the snowy forest, the Ultron-bot swarm, and finally…THE VISION! Thats right, we get his face at the end its not disappointing.

Without further dialog, here are those images and we’ll be coming back for more. Enjoy!

Marvel’s DAREDEVIL Shows us Eight New Stills

0

The latest issue of Empire gives us EIGHT new images from the upcoming DAREDEVIL series from Marvel and Netflix. What we can see is Daredevil’s ninja outfit, Rosario Dawson as Night Nurse, and Matt Murdock with his law partner Foggy Nelson. Also, we get a look at Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, and the backside of the Kingpin played by Vincent D’Onofrio.

While these new images from the show don’t reveal anything, you can definitely see the stealth suit Daredevil is wearing will change, as in the trailer, he has red lines along the seams. Other than that, hope this holds you over till April 10, when Marvel’s DAREDEVIL lands on Netflix.

New Images of FANTASTIC FOUR in Costume

0

The new images from the upcoming FANTASTIC FOUR retelling show off the main characters, Mr. Fantastic (Miles Teller), Invisible Woman (Kate Mara), Johnny Storm (Michael B. Jordan), and Ben Grimm (Jamie Bell). Some of these characters are in costume for the first time, such as Susan Storm, while we get better looks at Reed Richard’s containment suit for his stretchy ability and the Human Torch’s fire suit.

While we don’t see The Thing in rock form or Toby Kebbel’s Dr. Doom, we do see Tim Blake Nelson (The Incredible Hulk) pre-Mole Man, going by his civilian alias, Harvey Elder. If you’re thinking thats a lot of names, it is. People have been way to focused on the supposed back story of Dr. Doom, they’ve forgot Harvey is in it and will become the Mole Man, which is AWESOME! He’s a huge part of Jonathan Hickman’s Fantastic Four comics and it has paid off.

Either way, none of these images reveal much, but you should definitely take a look at whats going on in them and get hyped for FANTASTIC FOUR this August. Also, go watch the trailer.

New Official AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON Poster

0

Another official poster for Marvel’s next cinematic venture, AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON has hit the internet and it looks pretty sexy. From the lineup of all the Avengers who will be appearing in the film and the chaotic debris mixed with Ultron drones around them, it seems the team may have finally met their match.

As is tradition with Marvel, they’re not giving us a good look at The Vision, being relegated to a bright point in the sky, perhaps as part of the Ultron drone army? Either way, here’s the newest, latest, greatest AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON poster and if you’re needing a new phone background, this is it.

Marvel Studios presents Avengers: Age of Ultron, the epic follow-up to the biggest Super Hero movie of all time. When Tony Stark tries to jumpstart a dormant peacekeeping program, things go awry and Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, including Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, The Incredible Hulk, Black Widow and Hawkeye, are put to the ultimate test as the fate of the planet hangs in the balance. As the villainous Ultron emerges, it is up to the Avengers to stop him from enacting his terrible plans, and soon uneasy alliances and unexpected action pave the way for an epic and unique global adventure. Marvel’s Avengers: Age of Ultron stars Robert Downey Jr., who returns as Iron Man, along with Chris Evans as Captain America, Chris Hemsworth as Thor and Mark Ruffalo as The Hulk. Together with Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow and Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye, and with the additional support of Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury and Cobie Smulders as Agent Maria Hill, the team must reassemble to defeat James Spader as Ultron, a terrifying technological villain hell-bent on human extinction. Along the way, they confront two mysterious and powerful newcomers, Wanda Maximoff, played by Elizabeth Olsen, and Pietro Maximoff, played by Aaron Taylor-Johnson, and meet an old friend in a new form when Paul Bettany becomes Vision. Written and directed by Joss Whedon and produced by Kevin Feige, Marvel’s Avengers: Age of Ultron is based on the ever-popular Marvel comic book series “The Avengers,” published in 1963. Get set for an action-packed thrill ride when The Avengers return in Avengers: Age of Ultron May 1, 2015.

New Look at DAREDEVIL Suit

0

We have less than 2 months until we get to see DAREDEVIL on Netflix, pun intended. This week, Australian magazine FilmInk puts the Man without Fear on the cover in what could be the best look at his ninja suit yet.

As you can tel from the image, its pure black. You can’t see any of the red highlights or any other color (if there even is any) other than the pitch black of the cloth. With it being a ninja-esque style outfit, it makes sense.

If nothing else, its something to look at this morning! Starring Charlie Cox, Vincent D’Onofrio, Deborah Ann Woll, Elden Henson, and more, Daredevil will premiere on Netflix on April 10th.

Marvel’s Daredevil” is a live action series that follows the journey of attorney Matt Murdock, who in a tragic accident was blinded as a boy but imbued with extraordinary senses. Murdock sets up practice in his old neighborhood of Hell’s Kitchen, New York where he now fights against injustice as a respected lawyer by day and masked vigilante at night.

First Official Look at AQUAMAN in Batman v Superman

0

We know BATMAN v SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE is supposed to introduce the Justice League in a minor capacity. However, through teaser images of Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman, we’ve not seen or heard much about the other League members. That includes the Flash (Ezra Miller), Cyborg (Ray Fisher), and Aquaman (Jason Momoa).

As of today, Zack Snyder (via twitter) has shared the first official image of Jason Momoa as Aquaman for the upcoming DC comics film from Warner Bros. Yes, Aquaman is real, and honestly, he doesn’t look nearly as stupid as the version we saw in Smallville (who almost got his own spinoff series). Sure, he can only talk to fish, but this more Roman warrior-esque look shows that the aqua people will be more brutal than expected.

The text on the front also says “Unite the Seven” which I assume is the 7 Justice League members, who may make up the above 6, plus another. Who he 7th Justice League member is may be 2 people, either (the most likely) Green Lantern who gets his movie in 2020 or Shazam, who gets a DC film in 2019. More information about Shazam has been released than Green Lantern, but GL is more likely to be a JL member.

Either way, here’s Aquaman and know that Khal Drogo has taken over the seas.

Starring Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot, Laurence Fishburne, Diane Lane, Jesse Eisenberg, and Jeremy Irons, Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice is set to be released on March 25th, 2016.

Nightcrawler Cast for X-MEN: APOCALYPSE

0

Bamf!

Its not like we didn’t get enough mutants in the last X-Men trilogy ending film, so they’re adding more for this second trilogy’s final chapter. Announcing via Instagram, Bryan Singer has confirmed Kodi Smit-McPhee has been cast as the young version of Nightcrawler in the upcoming X-Men: Apocalypse film for 2016.

Smit-McPhee is known for his recent appearance in Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, but is lauded for his performance in The Road. As Nightcrawler, we haven’t seen the character since X-2, which was then portrayed by Alan Cumming. With the fuzzy elf and son of Mystique joining the other new cast members, will we see more Nightcrawler going forward after Apocalypse?

Directed by Bryan Singer, X-Men: Apocalypse also stars Jennifer Lawrence (Mystique), James McAvoy (Professor X), Michael Fassbender (Magneto), Nicholas Hoult (Beast), Alexandra Shipp (Storm), Sophie Turner (Jean Grey), with Tye Sheridan (Cyclops), and Oscar Isaac (Apocalypse). The movie reportedly starts shooting this summer and will hit theaters on May 27, 2016.

Excited to welcome @kodismitmcphee to the cast of #XmenApocalypse as young #Nightcrawler. @alexvaughanphoto

Leaked DEADPOOL Movie Script

0

To be fair, this isn’t ‘news’ as you’d normally think. The script for a DEADPOOL movie was released online around 2010 and that was in the dark times, pre-ComicUI. With the recent images and news around next year’s officially announced Deadpool film, I’ve decided to revisit this leaked script to see if we can discern some information from it. We’re only seeing DEADPOOL get his own movie due to the HUGE, positive reaction to the leaked test footage.

First and foremost, this script could potentially contain HUGE SPOILERS for next year’s movie. That being said, a lot of news coming out recently match this 5 year old script. If you don’t want to ruin the movie or the running gags, I recommend turning back now. For those who want to see the basic idea for Deadpool, continue on. All notes will be AFTER the script PDF below, so you can scroll down for those.

If you’re looking for something to do, you can save a copy to your tablet/computer and read it on your free time. I will warn you, if this turns out to be true, then there are SPOILERS ahead, my friends.

Deadpool – PDF Download

Ok, now that you’ve read that and have been warned, Deadpool. This script is from 2010 and it shows, including a recurring Amy Winehouse gag, in which Deadpool thinks he will outlive her. She died in 2011, so…we think that’ll be taken out. Lindsay Lohan is a good target these days!

Secondly, a recent casting call sheet gives some generic names to characters to appear in this script. We talk about this on Superhero Slate Podcast #6. Such as Daniel Cudmore to return as Colossus, the only X-Man in the script, and that would be great to see him come back! More includes Blind Al, Ajax, and others. With this being all (very likely) speculation, we think the backbones of this script are still there.

Lastly, it will be rewritten to an extent. Why? To make it work within Fox’s X-Men universe, accommodate a small budget, and ultimately change the rating if need be. Why less than an R? Because, thats what studios may do with three X-Men movies next year. We can only hope Ryan Reynolds gets his wish of that R rating too.

Anyways, if you’ve read the script, you can tell its zany, inappropriate, and above all, Deadpool. Let us know how you feel about it and if you’ll see him on February 12, 2016!
