Countdown to Avengers 4 – ComicUI Watch Calendar

Its that time of year again! As we prepare to end 10 years of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, we’ll be revisiting every MCU film. With the title of Avengers 4 still unknown, perhaps we can gain some clues and hints from the last decade of amazing comic book movie moments as we inch closer to it’s release.

This order has been hand picked by Chris, which means it does not follow release order (which is still acceptable, just don’t start with Captain America). Yell at him on twitter @Valdan if you disagree. Feel free to let us know if you’ll be participating and your thoughts as we take a trip down memory lane!

UPDATED: Marvel Cinematic Universe Watch Order | ComicUI’s Countdown to Infinity War

0

UPDATED: Avengers: Infinity War has moved to April 27 ruining our calendar! Thankfully, since Black Panther will still be in theaters, we’ll be unable to get a home release of the movie and will be leaving it off our Watch List for this year. While we LOVED Black Panther, this circumstance has made us leave it off the list for now.

Marvel’s culmination on their first 3 phases of cinematic mastery is coming to it’s final steps in the coming years. Kicking off with Avengers: Infinity War in May 2018 and ending with Avengers 4 (untitled) in May 2019. Here at ComicUI, we see a lot of videos and posts telling you how and when to watch all of the Marvel Studios films to be ready for Infinity War and we know that the majority of them are wrong.

Why are they wrong you ask? A lot haven’t counted the weeks properly, suggesting you start in January and watch one a week. This leaves you with one week to watch two films, and who has THAT time? Another suggests you start with Captain America: The First Avenger, and while that may be chronologically correct for the majority of the film, you have to learn about the Stark family in Iron Man and Iron Man 2 first.

To combat this, here at ComicUI we’re giving you the watch order of every Marvel Cinematic Universe film and simplify it by suggesting you watch it by release date. There will be 18 of them by the time Infinity War hits, do you have what it takes to watch one a week with us??

The ComicUI MCU Calendar will start the weekend of December 29 and continue every weekend until May 4. Here’s our order!

  1. Iron Man – Dec 29 (2017)
  2. The Incredible Hulk – Jan 5
  3. Iron Man 2 – Jan 12
  4. Thor – Jan 19
  5. Captain America: The First Avenger – Jan 26
  6. The Avengers – Feb 2
  7. Iron Man 3 – Feb 9
  8. Thor: The Dark World – Feb 16
  9. Captain America: The Winter Soldier – Feb 23
  10. Guardians of the Galaxy – Mar 2
  11. Avengers: Age of Ultron – Mar 9
  12. Ant-Man – Mar 16
  13. Captain America: Civil War – Mar 23
  14. Doctor Strange – Mar 30
  15. Guardians of the Galaxy 2 – Apr 6
  16. Spider-Man: Homecoming – Apr 13
  17. Thor: Ragnarok – Apr 20
  18. Black Panther – Apr 27
  19. Avengers: Infinity War – April 27

Leaked AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR Trailer Images

0

The most anticipated movie of 2018 is by far AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR and with only a teaser being shown at SDCC this year that was not released to the public, we now have our first look at some leaked images from the upcoming trailer!

Thanks to reddit user AscendedAncient for posting these up!

For the most part, these images seem to line up with the leaked trailer, but new scenes and a closer look at Proxima Midnight are definitely things we’re more excited to see in action!

Marvel’s INHUMANS Official Trailer #1

0

The first official (not leaked) trailer for Marvel’s Inhumans series has landed online today and gives us a good look at the Inhumans (who live on the blue side of the moon) and how their kingdom’s inner workings may be their downfall. This September, meet Black Bolt, Medusa, Maximus, Karnak, Gorgon, Crystal, Triton, Lockjaw (the dog), and more in IMAX installments, with the remaining series to debut on ABC later that month.

From the trailer, it looks as if Maximus wants to move the Inhuman’s home of Attilan to Earth to have more resources and is using this rhetoric to rile up the Inhuman citizens to his cause. It appears that Black Bolt is flees to Earth with Lockjaw and the remaining episodes most likely deal with the fallout of leadership and how the royal hierarchy is dealing with this coup.

Marvel’s INHUMANS Trailer Leaked

0

The first trailer for Marvel’s INHUMANS series has leaked, and judging from the watermark, it is from show runner Scott Buck himself! This trailer, albeit low quality, does give us a look at the series and perhaps its Game of Thrones style approach to the Inhuman Royale Family. We’re not putting too much faith on this quality until final VFX and an official release is there, but it seems to be very dramatic!

Are you excited for INHUMANS to hit IMAX this September 1, followed by the series on ABC this fall? We are!

UPDATE: Video was removed, we’re uploading our own!
