Last month, ComicUI went to C2E2, the premier convention for our site and one of our favorites yet. This coming week, we have the privilege of attending MOTOR CITY COMIC CON. This is the third year I’ve been to the MCCC, however, it is the first representing ComicUI. It was at this convention that I first learned to appreciate artists and get into comics. It was also the first time I ever received a sunburn at a comic themed event as well. (The lines last year were over a mile long and the parking just as crazy, per Stan Lee’s appearance.)

As we prepare for MCCC, I want to share the featured guest list with you, as well as the the official synopsis of the weekend. With it being their 25th Anniversary of the event, they seem to be pulling no strings on the guest list either, from media to the comic industry.

The biggest draws are William Shatner (Star Trek) and John Barrowman (Arrow, Torchwood). The other stars include Joey Lauren Adams, Paul Amos, Richard Anderson, Alloy Ash, Brutus “The Barber” Beefcake, John Bernthal, Grant Bowler, Nicholas Brendan, Katie Cassidy, Brittany Daniel, Drea de Matteo, “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan, Jason David Frank, Bret Hart, Robert Hays, Ernie Hudson, Herbert Jefferson Jr., Terry Kiser, Robert Knepper, Martin Kove, Matthew Laurence, Kristanna Loken, Lee Majors, Michael Massee, Kent McCord, Jane McNeill, Jason Momoa, Ken Page, Dan Phillips, J. August Richards, Mark Rothman, Chris Sarandon, Rachel Skarsten, Josh Stewart, Paris Themmen, Jordan Trovillion, Karl Urban, Milo Ventimiglia, Lindsay Wagner, Scott Wilson, H.M. Wynant, Burt Young, and Billy Zabka.

Yeah, thats a lot. As for artists, theres quite a few more. You can find those embedded below. If you have any requests from the show, be sure to let us know and we’ll do what we can!
