In 2016, we see the arrival of potentially three X-MEN movies from Fox studios. With the prosperous and beloved DEADPOOL film already in theaters, and Gambit’s release on the rocks in October, its easy to overlook the another big VS. movie releasing in May, X-Men: Apocalypse!

Much like last year’s AGE OF ULTRON was an end-cap to several Marvel movies and most of Phase 2, Apocalypse brings the prequel trilogy to a close in what will be undeniably fantastical. To help kick this culmination off, we’re going to do our annual Cinematic Universe Countdown and we’ll be starting this April! This gives us 8 full weeks to watch every X-men movie every week until X-Men: Apocalypse releases on May 27.

Why are we announcing this early? So you can find great deals on the X-Men movies and get those in your collection before we start, plus March is going to be huge as we’ll be attending several conventions like the Arcade Expo, Lexington Comic & Toy Con, and our favorite, C2E2.

Using the following schedule, be prepared to watch and live tweet with us during the X-Men Cinematic Universe Countdown to Apocalypse!

April 1 – X-Men

April 8 – X2

April 15 – X3: The Last Stand

April 22: X-Men Origins: Wolverine

April 29: X-Men First Class

May 6: The Wolverine

May 13: X-Men: Days of Future Past

May 20: Deadpool

May 27: X-Men Apocalypse release! (Honestly, we’ll probably watch it sooner)

All films will start at 8 PM EST unless otherwise noted.
