We have a screenshot of a tweet from the one and only Joss Whedon from less than an hour ago where he seemingly congratulations Aaron Paul, best known for his Emmy Award Winning performance as Jesse Pinkman on AMC’s Breaking Bad show, for getting the part of the one and only sorcerer supreme, Doctor Stephen Strange.
This is not the first rumor we’ve seen about the casting of this character, but this is the closest to confirmation that we have seen, especially if it truly came from Joss himself. Whedon is the creative force behind Marvel’s movies since his huge success on The Avengers (2012) and his upcoming work on Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015).
According to StarWars.com, they have picked their cast for the upcoming Episode VII film.
New comers to the Star Wars Universe include actors John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, and Max von Sydow. Lastly, Karen Gillan of Doctor Who fame will be playing Nebula, a space pirate who claims to be the granddaughter of Thanos. That could be fun, considering that Zoe Saldana will be playing Gamora, adopted [...]
Via FirstShowing.net, we have learned that Robert Downey Jr. and Marvel Studios have come to an agreement on his future role as Tony Stark. Through some Hollywood passive-aggressiveness, we have learned that the stars for all Marvel films have all been low-balled when it comes to their contracts for multiple films. However, Downey (the highest paid actor of the movies) has been at the forefront of leading a change in policy to get more money for the cast of the films, including Chris Evans and Chris Hemsworth, two very under appreciated actors in my opinion. Through what I assume is some very ‘hostile negotiations,’ RDJ has been confirmed to grace us with his present in [...]
