The same week Trask Industries begins its viral marketing campaign for Days of Future Past, Bryan Singer tweets (no surprise) a photo of a sentinel on set. Let me say that I am truly astonished at the size of this thing, despite the ones from the cartoons in the 90’s being much larger. I expected sentinels to be either human/mutant sized or towering beasts. What we got was something in between, but still looks awesome. Notice the translucent covering around the body and that purple is slick. The right arm has what appears to be a gun on it, so expect some violence from these machines in the film.
This doesn’t dissuade my initial fears of over crowding mutants into [...]
Filming on Captain America: The Winter Soldier the past could days has been absolutely brutal for the actors, at least I suspect so. Included below are even more pictures of Captain America and the Winter Soldier duking it out (or making out) in a parking lot. As you can tell, Rogers gets some good tosses in and his shield gets tossed around a bit, even stuck in a van, but I cannot wait to see this scene unravel on the big screen. Also, I’d like to point out a blue and grey shield that Cap is holding in a certain photo looks pretty funky. Hopefully it will be graphically changed in post production to the old red, white, and blue, but ya never know these days. Browse through the [...]
Twitter. Man. If I could have only seen the potential years ago and turned it into an hourly regime, I’d be king of the internet. However, I’m not the most avid user but I still find time to discover all the latest and greatest comic book news, especially for the movies.
Fox has tweeted (see, that had a point) a new photo from the Wolverine that contains a quote about the film from Hugh Jackman himself. Its nothing usual, just a marketing piece coming from the lead actor, rather than the director or producer, yet I can’t find myself from giggling at the very grumpy cat-esque face that Jackman has adopted to his face. If you’re unfamiliar with grumpy cat [...]
I really hope this isn’t some more casting news, but James Gunn has brought in a raccoon into the studio to study for the upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy movie. He plans on using live raccoons as the base for the Rocket Raccoon character, an anthropomorphized creature who loves blasting things to bit and fighting evil across the galaxy. Take a look at the photo revealed via twitter and think of how adorable this little guy could be in the movie!
James Gunn will direct Chris Pratt, Dave Bautista, Zoe Saldana, Michael Rooker, Glenn Close, Benicio Del Toro, Ophelia Lovibond and Lee Pace in the last Phase 2 Marvel film before [...]
